About Us
Blue Regeneration is a Spanish company founded by Thomas J. Goreau, Thomas Sarkisian among others dedicated to coral regeneration, coastal protection and beach restoration and sustainable mariculture through Biorock® technology.
Biorock® is a technology invented by the architect Wolf Hilbertz to produce building materials in the sea in 1976, and developed by him and Dr. Thomas Goreau for new applications such as regenerating marine ecosystems and eroded beaches.
Today, the effectiveness of Biorock has been demonstrated in more than 600 projects in 45 countries in the regeneration of marine ecosystems (corals, posidonia, etc.) and in the protection and restoration of coasts and beaches.
